Dersin Hedefleri Kuramsal ve uygulama çerçevesi içerisinde Avrupa Eğitim Politikalarının anlaşılması Toplumsal gelişim ve değişimde Eğitimin rolünün anlaşılması
Dersin Amacı Bu derste farklı sosyolojik kuram ve yaklaşımlar doğrultusunda eğitim alanındaki çoğu güncel konu ve sorunların değerlendirilmesinin yanı sıra, Avrupa Birliği’nde dönemsel olarak uygulanan eğitim politikalarının, özellikle yaşam boyu öğrenme ve yetişkin eğitimi üzerine yapılmış çeşitli ampirik araştırmalardan derlenen farklı örneklerin karşılaştırılarak tartışılması bağlamında ele alınması amaçlanmaktadır.

3 Alan bilgisine bağlı olarak bir olguyu veya olayı araştırma ve bunu rapor etme yeteneğini kazanmak 5
4 Sosyal yapılar, sosyal aktörler ve kültür arasındaki ilişkileri kapsayan teorik tartışmalar hakkında bilgi ve anlayış kazanmak. 5
5 Kendisi ve kendi yeterlikleri hakkında farkındalık, eleştirel düşünebilme yeteneğini kazanmak. 5
6 Bilgi ve becerilerini disiplin içi ve disiplinler arası takım çalışmalarında uygulayabilmek. 5
7 Teorik yaklaşımları, farklı sosyal öznelerin günlük yaşam pratiği ile ilişkilendirerek devlet-toplum, toplum-birey, sosyal yapı-sosyal özne olma durumu arasındaki ilişkileri çok boyutlu olarak düşünebilmek ve analiz edebilmek. 5
8 Türkçe sözlü ve yazılı iletişim becerilerini ve en az bir yabancı dilde yazılı iletişim yeteneğini geliştirmek. 5
9 Saha araştırma süreçlerini ve elde edilen verilerin nicel ve nitel araştırma teknikleriyle bilimsel ve etik değerleri göz önüne alarak, araştırma sürecini denetleme yetisini kazandırmak. 5
10 Sosyolojik bir araştırma yürütebilmek için gerekli olan ileri istatistik bilgilerini ve bilgisayar becerilerini kazanmak. 5
